Carbon Neutral Village is a one year project by the Oxford School Calicut, which is meant to reduce the carbon content in the atmosphere of the nearby village with the help of its residents.
Students conducted a survey and found the present condition and sensitised the common people about the harmful effects of Carbon and the ways to reduce it.
The students planted saplings at the neighbouring houses and promised their continuous support throughout the year.
The findings of the survey and the Memorandum were submitted to Ms. Sharuthi, the Olavanna Panchayat President.
